MyMoneyManagement.net Helps Consumers Fight Holiday Credit Crunch

December 15, 2008—Washington D.C. — The Financial Services Roundtable has refined its website www.MyMoneyManagement.net  to help consumers understand and manage their credit card debt during  these challenging times and the holiday season. MyMoneyManagement.net also offers a comprehensive database of certified credit counselor listings for those consumers who need additional help managing their debt.

When it was unveiled in 2006, MyMoneyManagement.net was the first industry-wide effort to provide consumers with comprehensive financial education resources. With its recent upgrade, MyMoneyManagement.net is now one of the most comprehensive tools on the web to help consumers understand and manage their credit card debt and personal finances.

“Now, more than ever, Americans must educate themselves about credit cards, budgeting and personal finance management,” said Steve Bartlett, President and CEO of The Financial Services Roundtable. “It is the responsibility of lenders to provide the necessary resources to help them, and MyMoneyManagement is a very useful tool.”

The Financial Services Roundtable represents 100 of the largest integrated financial services companies providing banking, insurance, and investment products and services to the American consumer.  Member companies participate through the Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives nominated by the CEO.

Roundtable member companies provide fuel for America's economic engine, accounting directly for $66.1 trillion in managed assets, $1.1 trillion in revenue, and 2.5 million jobs.
