MyMoneyManagement.net Unveils Redesign
New features will help consumers get the information they need and expands the Spanish section.

Washington, D.C. – February 7, 2008 – The Financial Services Roundtable’s Council on Consumer Finance announced the redesign of its financial education website, MyMoneyManagement.net. MyMoneyManagement has a clean, new look that will aid consumers looking for comprehensive financial educational resources.

MyMoneyManagement.net was launched in September 2006, as a groundbreaking industry-wide resource to provide consumers with financial tips and tools for budget worksheets, what to do if you’re having trouble paying your mortgage, and a link to find Department-of-Justice certified credit counselors. The site has since welcomed more than 150,000 visitors, with almost half the visitors adding the website to their Favorites.

“With more than a half-million page views, we are reaching people so they have the tools they need to make educated financial decisions,” said Steve Bartlett, President and CEO of The Financial Services Roundtable. “The new streamlined design will help consumers find the resources they need faster.”

In October 2007, MyMoneyManagement.net expanded to include several new features, including more than 40 Spanish-language articles focusing on budgeting, how to plan for emergencies, and single-parent households. There is also a monthly newsletter sent to a list of more than 800 with new information and tips for consumers.

MyMoneyManagement.net has begun producing and distributing financial tips booklets as well. The latest booklet in the series is titled, “Having Trouble Paying Your Mortgage? Tips for Homeowners Facing Foreclosure.” If you are interested in receiving any of the financial tips booklets or the monthly newsletter, please visit, www.MyMoneyManagement.net.
