IDENTITY THEFT ASSISTANCE CENTER EXPANDS OFFERINGS
TO ID THEFT PREVENTION WITH LAUNCH OF ITAC SENTINEL™
ITAC Sentinel™ makes ITAC available to more companies, consumers
Washington, DC, May 16, 2008—ITAC, the Identity Theft Assistance Center, today introduced ITAC Sentinel™ (www.itacsentinel.com), the only identity protection service with ITAC victim assistance built in.
“We’re very proud that ITAC has helped 35,000 customers of member companies recover from identity theft, but from the beginning, the vision was to do more,” said ITAC President Anne Wallace. “We want to help prevent identity theft and to make ITAC victim assistance available to all consumers, whatever financial institution they use.”
ITAC, a nonprofit organization supported by financial services companies, will use license revenue from sales of ITAC Sentinel™ to fund its public service activities – partnering with law enforcement to fight identity crime and educating consumers about identity theft.
